Some club members and residents have expressed a concern re. the recent spate of vandalism done to the Clifton Park playing surface, and in particular to the perimteter fencing. The local police are well aware of the situation and despite rumours to the contrary, the pole fencing that has been erected immediately to the left of the clubrooms and all the way to the goal square is a temporary measure by Moonee Valley Council whilst the new paneling for the existing picket fence is on back order. ASC President Arthur Jacobs has been assured by the Mayor, Cr. Paul Giuliano that the fencing is only temporary and will not replace the current picket fence.
