FOOTBALL CLUB

Welcome back to players from last year and more importantly a special Welcome to all new players! As most of you will be aware, our Registration Day was held on February 12 and has now concluded. We can confirm that at this late stage that the U10, U12 and U16 age groups are completely FULL. There are however, approximately six vacanies still available in the U14 age group. PRE-SEASON TRAINING

In answer to all of the queries we have been receiving regarding Junior Football training. Please understand that currently it is still Cricket season and they have priority over ground usage at Clifton Park until at least March 1st. Therefore the current training schedule below reflects this fact. You will be notified as soon as possible of any changes to training days, times & venues for the season proper as soon as these are confirmed.

Under 10s will train on Friday nights 5 - 6pm and will commence on the 16th of March.

Under 12s will train on Wednesday & Friday nights 6 - 7pm and commence on the 7th of March. At this stage both Under 10s & Under 12s will train at Clifton Park.

Under 14s have commenced training at Fairburn Park in Ascot Vale and will continue there until the end of cricket season. Under 14 training is currently on Wednesday & Friday nights 6 - 7.30pm.

Under 16s have also commenced training at Fairburn Park in Ascot Vale and will continue there until the end of cricket season. Under 16s training is currently on Tuesday & Friday nights 5.30 - 6.45pm.

All players are expected to train in runners only at this stage and bring a water bottle.

2012 FIXTURES

Please note that the 2012 fixture will not be released by the EDFL until all team and club submissions numbers have been finalised. The League normally releases the fixture towards the end of March, early April at the latest. We know you are all keen for the footy season to begin so thanks for your patience and rest assured, we will let you know when we do.

MOUTHGUARDS

As in the past couple of years we have once again booked the Mouthguard Man for all of your child's mouthguard needs. Mould impressions and fittings will be conducted in the clubrooms on the dates specified below. This is a quality and convenient service so take advantage of the Mouthguard Man's visit to Aberfeldie!

Fittings: Monday 20th February

Wednesday 22nd February

Thursday 1st March

Time: 4.00pm until 7.00pm

Bookings: No need. Just turn up - the line moves quickly.

Returns: Mouthguards fitted on the 20th & 22nd Feb can be collected on the 1st March.

Mouthguards fitted on the 1st March can be collected on the 7th March.

Cost: $50.00 Single / $60.00 Dual Colour - and a desposit is required upon getting it made up.
