Grand Final action from Windy Hill as the Reserves take on Keilor for the third time this year in the ultimate match of the year. Well done to all players and staff for going undefeated in the home and away series as well.

The A-Reserves win their Grand Final against Keilor and proudly sing the club theme song along with friends and supporters as other spectators flow across Windy Hill to enjoy the celebrations.

An effective disposal of the ball by 'Best on Ground' player Mark Williams during the penultimate game of the year helped seal the fate of the Reserves for a date  to play off in a Grand Final match against Keilor!

As one of our better A-Grade players on this day, Sam Watson shows he is a man of action in the senior match against Glenroy.

Young guns Justin Brewer, Tom Carland and James Hicks let their arch rivals Doutta Stars know they are not in for an easy game during the Senior match played at Buckley Park Oval.

Heath Maplestone takes an affirmative lunge forward to get the ball in this shot of the Reserves match.

Playing the top of the ladder team was never going to be an easy task, but try the Abers boys did as seen here when Damian Kefford attempts to get the ball out of harm's way during the senior match at Clifton Park.

Mark Williams wrestles for the ball with Greenvale's Chris Burns in this tense moment from the senior match as players look on in anticipation.

U18 young gun Tim McSweeney dominated in the ruck during this passage of play that resulted in an otherwise exciting 3-point match-losing game against Greenvale.

Jim Taylor stretches out to intercept the ball from his Greenvale opponents.

The Abers Reserves fared much better than their senior counterparts by recording a second win for the season over the Keilor Blues.

Justin Brewer had the ball in his sights as Taylor French lent some backup assistance during the Reserves match played at Keilor Recreation Reserve during the year.

Rhys Fitzpatrick moves forward with momentum in the first quarter of the Senior match against West Coburg, who were ultimately a stronger side than we expected.

Sam Watson had a commendable reason for wearing dual arm bands: Firstly the yellow arm band as part of our "Call to Arms" campaign and the black one in memory of his beloved grandfather who passed away during that week.

Joel Dwyer pursues a West Coburg player from continuing his getaway as Marcus Kennedy shepherds from behind.

Dean McDermott has possession and has to think quick to get the ball off to one of his nearest teammates. Unfortunately his efforts were in vain as West Coburg soundly beat the U18s in almost every area of their attack.

You're Caught!: Conal Moloney feels this heavy tackle from an opposition player during this action sequence of the nail-biting Under 18 clash against Craigieburn where they defeated the U18s by just one point.
 .

Dominic Monteleone almost has possession of the ball but is about to be tackled by the opposition in the home game match against Strathmore this past season.

Tom Carland tries to escape the attention of the opposition players during yet another disappointing loss for the Seniors.

Despite an opposition player hot on his heels, Taylor French supplied the necessary tactics required to ensure he and his teammates had another thrilling victory over the Strathmore Reserves.

Rhys Fitzpatrick uses the handball option as Tom Carland fends off an unwanted opposition player's tactics in the Senior match against Maribyrnong Park during the second half of the season.

James Hicks was one of the better players for Abers during the A-Grade clash with Maribyrnong Park who were too quick and stronger in the air, and used the windy conditions to their advantage.

Full of grit and determination, Ben Peart makes a solid grab of the ball in this action shot from the Under 18 match. It was a credit to the Marby boys for at least having a go and not making it a one-sided affair despite the end result.

Ben McKenzie is tackled by an Avondale Heights player with the clock ticking away to its inevitable conclusion. Poor kicking form cost our players what was a seemingly winnable game of local football.

It was an all-in effort from the Reserves boys, winning their tenth consecutive game and still dominating the ladder.

Vincent Madaffari continually applied attacking pressure and was successful in assisting his team's win over the opposition as seen in this action shot from the Under 18 match.

Ben McKenzie makes his presence felt during the Reserves win over Greenvale; a double celebration for the milestone of player Dane Pound's 200th game with Aberfeldie.

A best on ground performance from Adam Houli failed to lift his team's spirit as the Abers boys were soundly beaten in every area of their attack by Keilor.

Team captain Andrew Panousieris lunges forward to intercept a Keilor player in this action shot of the U18 match.

The 'Big Keg' Steve McKee pushes forward into a West Coburg player late in the game in an effort to gain some momentum.

Vincent Madaffari has to think quick as the opposition makes a lunge for dominance during the Under 18 match against West Coburg.

"It's Mine!" could have been the cry as everyone has a sense of urgency in attempting to get the ball in this shot of the U18 match against Craigieburn.

Tim McSweeney is about to get one away with this kick from the U18 match that ultimately saw the Abers boys win by a point in a thrilling contest by two fairly evenly matched teams.

There was no-one prouder at the club as player Dominic Monteleone celebrated his 300-Game Milestone for Abers against Maribyrnong Park.

Reaching for the heights in a close match was ruckman Steven Woodburn in the senior match at Maribyrnong Park.

Tim McSweeney has the ball firmly in his sights during this passage of play in the Under 18 match as the opposition close in.

Maribyrnong Park's U18 star Steven White tries to intercept the ball ahead of our own Luke Scerri in this action shot.

Tom Carland prepares to spoil the mark of an opposition player in this shot from the senior game at Clifton Park in the first match of the season against Avondale Heights.
