Ladies!

Would you like to meet other mums who have children playing junior level football at Aberfeldie who also sponsor the Junior Football Club/ Sports Club?  Then join us this year for the opportunity to be part of this great group.

Membership for next season will be available from April, 2011!

We would like to thank all the ladies who have supported the Chardonnay Club in the past. The Chardonnay Club was formed over ten years ago with the purpose of raising money for those much needed 'extras' required to enhance our clubrooms.  Over the period of our existence, the $15.00 membership fee has been used to purchase the fridge in the canteen, helped with the cost of new jumpers for the Junior teams, the acquisition of a popular coffee machine in the canteen and in the last few years medical kits and dressing gowns were purchased for the juniors as well. Members are recognised for their contribution by having their name added to the club board which is placed above the entrance door to the bar/canteen facilities.

A special luncheon in conjunction with the Ladies Committee is normally held during the football season at one of our home game matches and is a great way of enjoying the club's facilities with your fellow members.

Despite what is outlined above, you don't necessarily need to have relatives playing at the club to become a member.  You can be a friend of a junior parent for example. Membership is open to all women and we would encourage current or past members to rejoin next year and bring along a female friend, whether it be your mother, daughter, girlfriend, grandmother or work associate.  We are always welcoming of new members who can join and assist the club in its fund raising achievements. So bring them along and allow them to join in the festivities and fun!
