AberfeldiensWho Are The Aberfeldiens? Originating 38 years ago in 1974, the Aberfeldiens are a committed and independent group of supporters whose aim is to support the various sporting bodies of Aberfeldie Sports Club, Inc and to assist with the enhancement of the Club's facilities through various fund raising strategies. The Aberfeldiens have in recent years contributed funds for the purchase of training equipment for the Cricket Club, the much needed refurbishment of the umpire's rooms for the Football Club and the purchase of new tables and chairs for the function area within the clubrooms in addition to many other worthwhile projects. With the ever increasing costs associated with the Sports Club and the operation of the Senior Football Club, it is essential to get new members on board. This could be you! Currently Membership for this year has come to a close. If interested, you can join the Aberfeldiens Past Players and Supporters Group this year and we would strongly encourage you to do so. Membership will be open for Season 2012 in late March/early April and will be promoted here on this page.
Members will be issued with a numbered key ring listing the senior fixture, a personalised stubby holder and an invitation to attend an end of year thank-you dinner. Part of the festivities during the normal season is a fully catered, three-course "Home Game Luncheon" held at the clubrooms which is complemented by an important guest speaker along with other entertainment activities. Become part of the atmosphere on 'The Hill' at Abers on Saturday afternoons during the football season (Apr-Sept) and participate in local grass-roots community football like never before!
